Private 6-Day Tour from Casablanca to the Merzouga Desert

Pick up from Casablanca Airport and transfer to Fez, the cultural capital of Morocco.
Overnight in a riad with breakfast.

After breakfast we depart from Fez toward the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Africa.”

Next we visit Azrou, a Berber town famous for its handicrafts, carpets, and wood carvings. Then we continue to Midelt.

We drive through Tizi Talghemt Pass (1907 m), also known as the Camel Pass, with impressive mountain landscapes.

Arrival in Errachidia, then continue through the Tafilalet region to the palm groves of Erfoud, heading to the Merzouga Desert.

Upon arrival, the adventure begins with a 1-hour camel trek to the desert camp. We stop on the way to enjoy the sunset over the dunes before continuing to the camp.

At the camp you will enjoy traditional hospitality tea, dinner, and the opportunity to climb the dunes to watch the stars and shooting stars.

Overnight in desert tents (Berber camp) with traditional dinner and breakfast.

Early wake-up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp.

Camel ride back to the village and continue the journey to Rissani, the first imperial city of Morocco, where you will visit its famous traditional market, the largest in southern Morocco.

Continue to Tazzarine via Alnif, in the Maider basin. Then drive through the famous Todra Gorges, Dades Valley, Valley of Roses, and the Skoura Oasis.

Arrival in Ouarzazate.
Overnight in hotel or riad with dinner and breakfast.

After breakfast we depart toward Marrakech.

Before reaching Marrakech we visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Many famous films were shot here such as Gladiator, Babel, The Kingdom of Heaven, Sahara, Cleopatra and Obelix.

Continue the journey to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) with spectacular views.

Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon.
Overnight in riad with breakfast.

Breakfast in the riad, then departure to Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco.

Visit the famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Islamic world.

Afternoon transfer to the hotel or airport.
