The Agafay Desert is a rocky, lunar-like desert located just 40–60 minutes (about 30 km) south of Marrakech, offering a convenient, dramatic alternative to the distant Sahara. Characterized by white dunes, barren hills, and stunning Atlas Mountain views, it is a popular spot for camel rides, quad biking, and luxurious overnight stays in tented camps.
